The Flowers of Wistaria
63Wistaria's scientific name is Wisteria sinensis. Wistaria flowers are origin from North Korea, China, Japan and even Taiwan. Places like Guangzhou, south China, north to Inner Mongolia, citizen are culturally put the plant in gardening view. They use fresh flowers can be eaten up, stems and leaves dry up for medicinal purpose.
The Legend said
The flower of Wistaria has it's own story, there is a girl who was seeking for love. She prayed to the God everyday, hope that her dream will come true. One day, the God had answer her call, in her dream, the God told her, when it's spring, went to back of the mountain, wait at the jungles. She would find a white clothe man, the man will be her love one. After all, she waited at in jungles until sunset, nobody there. It's getting darker, unfortunately she was bite by a snake and she couldn't walk. She was very desperate, at that moment, a man came, she called for help. The man helped her clearing the poison. She fall in love to him, but he is poor. Their marriage was objected by girl's family. Finally, they committed suicide by jump off the cliff. Some where there by the cliff, found the tree. The tree entwined with vines, at the vine, there are numbers of purple flower. After this, people called this flower "Flower of Wistaria". The Wistaria flower need tree to entwine and live, without it the flower will die. Some one said the tree is the man and the flower is the girl.
